2017 Nissan Rogue Sport

The 2017 Rogue Sport is Nissan's latest addition to a stylish and athletic line. This vehicle is a CUV-- or crossover utility vehicle-- that looks like a smaller version of the original Rogue. It's set to be released this Spring with a price point speculated to start at around $20,000. In this case "Sport" means smaller, and as Nissan boasts "city sized." The interior is similar in appeal and apportions to its corporate cousin, offering Bluetooth and rear view camera. The engine clocks in with a 2.0 liter, 4 cylinder, packing 141 horses. The generous cargo space helps balance out the fact that the engine is under-powered. Overall it's still an intriguing option if you like the Rogue bu

Don't Be Afraid of The Demon

The 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon has been unleashed with all its fury at the NYIAS show. The Challenger has been brought to a new dimension this year in a bigger than life (and the boogie man) reveal. Watch the video here. What separates this muscle car from the pack (and even its previous model) is the fact that as Dodge likes to say, "It's "Domestic. Not domesticated." The stats say it another way-840 hp, 9.65 quarter mile, 770 lb-ft torque powered from a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® Demon V-8, 140 mph trap speed. This is one demon that will scare the hell out of you! With these types of numbers it is said to be the fastest production car in the world. (I'm sure it'd be fun to challenge, no

One of the best things about smart phones is that you can take snap shots of the things you love and share them. Well, there's no better place than the NY International Auto show to do that. Enjoy!

Weekend Wonder

Sometimes you drive your comfortable predictable, gas sipping sedan and wonder what it'd be like if you had the glorious t-top open roof with a pure American muscle car roaring down the lane. Your imagination can only take you so far until you wake up to the real sound of a classic 1960's Corvette Stingray in bright bumble bee yellow pushing its way through average daily drivers. This just happened to me this weekend on route 80. I was taken back so much in fact that I asked my son to get a few pics pf it as we were "racing" by him. Here they are. Enjoy, but don't druel. Can you guess the year?

The Fiat "Mini-Jeep"

I've written about the American Jeep, the German VW Thing, and now there's an Italian "Mini-Jeep" or a Fiat Ferves Ranger to be exact. They were made from 1966-1971. They're so ugly they're cute. Yep, I said cute. You know like a bull dog face kinda cute. But don't let it's charm fool you. It's off-road capability was real! It boasted a mixture of parts from the Fiat 500F and the 600. The mighty engine roared with a 2 cylinder 499 cc's! That's about 22 hp for those keeping score. The body was a custom tub built for utility and off-road purposes. Its differential was geared very low to enable slow crawls over rough terrain. Even better is the fact that the name Ferves was an acronym for it's
